Honestly, he’s content to watch the events unfold before him, keeping his distance despite being spotted by the dragon. He has a good vantage point here to watch as the dark haired stranger continue to seemingly dawdle around a tangleweed that looks quite sickly (or aggressive? It’s hard to tell from this distance). Though, his brows lift as soon as the kick is made and Astaroth’s dark gaze follows the tumbleweed along to its demise.
He even remains silent until the charred husk floats of whatever remained from the void creature that Tal had focused his efforts onto. And now is about the time Asta deems it important to announce his presence. “That was quite possibly the strangest thing I’ve ever seen.” He says by way of greeting, the cane clicking against the ground when a random stone is touched announces more of his arrival, as does the rumble of a welcome laugh. “Yet it was also so entertaining.”
