It was kinda our deal.” He starts to offer at first, before the explanation is aired and he really has to think back to when it had happened, what was occurring in the great land of Torchline during his most dramatic years to see just how he had taken it.

Stepping a little bit closer to her, he reaches out to wrap an arm around her shoulder and tuck her into his chest. “It is kinda shitty having someone able to know every single thing you’re thinking, though. At least he shuts down with the migraines because of it.” Because woof, if Jack didn't have to deal with those, Sunjata imagines he would've been even more of a pain in his ass than he already was.
