Having flown the route Isla had just travelled a number of times before he was able to confidently fly La Verbena, Everest knew the frustratingly slow process it could be to disembark from the ship. Because of this, he waited with all the enthusiastic patience of a well-trained collie, and only once Isla had begun to walk down the gangplank did he allow himself to move through the crowd to greet her.

"Happy LongNight." He agrees before holding out the bouquet of flowers for her, only for the eager smile that had been plastered on his face to fall slightly away. "..I am just now realizing how inconvenient it might be to have to carry around flowers all evening." He murmurs, sounding entirely stumped as to how these sorts of things were normally done. When you went on a date, you were meant to bring the girl flowers, right? But if so, what was she meant to do with said flowers?

"Sorry, uhm...we could drop them off somewhere, first...or, ..."
