Bouncing her eyebrows back at him in return, it's with a slightly wicked smile that Isla understands exactly what Ever is trying to convey with only a look, and she eventually lets the subject fade rather than prodding him for a more articulate answer. "It is? Ah, is that why they call this the Eye of the Storm, then?" Very clever, her tone seems to suggest, as does the dry smile that accompanies it. "I bet it must be breathtaking on a clear day."
What a shame, then (not), that here and now at LongNight, Ever is the more interesting view. And as his lips drop against her shoulder and she's ferried willingly into the deeper, hotter water, the Remedy all but melts against him, the water lapping just above her waist given their height difference. "This was such a good idea," she hums. "And I will happily take you to visit The Climb if you like. I wouldn't recommend flying La Verbena there, though."
