The problem hadn't been finding a place to plant the seeds. It had been narrowing them down, which had been scary enough to think about. There were so many areas that could use a little hope on the margins of the infections, and others that they couldn't even reach, but in the end Tal had chosen to protect where his house was built. The big river that emptied out of the Sallow Swamp rode the edges of King's End, curling past the Barrows, along the shores of Mourn, and around the horn of Queen's Gambit. He wasn't entirely sure where everyone else was planting, but Mourn seemed like the best bet for a start.
