Sah
Sah shrugged, "I'd be more concerned if they did come with instructions." That would mean it was far easier to fuck up. Though children didn't come with instructions either, and they well...
Shaking off his thoughts, Sah channeled his earth magic to create a decent-sized hole. It might have been a tad too large, but he was going to be filling it in any way. It was as he was crouched down placing his seed that Tal asked his question.
The Wild Thunder glanced up with a blank expression. He didn't know whether to laugh or smack the courier. After a heartbeat, he let out a heavy sigh, "I guess." Tsking, he began to cover up his seed and smooth out the soil around it with his hands, "If I think about it, it hurts. But I no longer obsess over it every waking moment."
Sah stood up and brushed the dirt off his hands, "I don't expect or deserve Melita's forgiveness. But we did talk. Kind of. And I think we're as good as we can be given the situation." He smiled ruefully, "She doesn't seem to want my head at least." That was all that he could hope for.
The Abandoned did have to suppress the urge to smile as he recalled Safrin's approval and near glee over his actions. It had been the catalyst that finally let him heal as much as he had.
