There were too many cats and Kaiden let out a sound of disgust. Why didn't the damn cat just want to go home? They were clearly wanted and loved. Unlike someone else. There was free food and shelter there too. Stupid cat.
And now one was talking. That was unexpected. Kaiden leaned forward and eyed the strange animal, "What did you eat that made it possible for you to talk?" If they were lucky, it'd have the opposite effect on people and they could shove it down the throats of those that annoyed them.
When none of the cats stepped up at Sah's request, the mer threw their hands up, splashing water onto the bank, "Ugh! Whichever one of you is Mango, just come willingly. I promise not to eat you." Good enough.
