Sah
For a moment there was silence and Sah felt his heart sink. He had failed her and she’d deemed him unworthy of such a blessing.
But then there was starlight and warmth as the wolf glowed and the goddess whom he belonged to appeared.
The sight of Safrin was as breathtaking as ever and the Wild Thunder’s frayed nerves were soothed. Raising his head, he met Safrin’s eyes with a small smile. “Nothing worthwhile ever is.”
She willed for him to be certain so Sah followed her unspoken order and gave it one last contemplation. Was this truly what he wanted? To be remade and begin a new, challenging path? Was he ready? Yes.
Nodding his head, Sah gave his answer, “Yes, Safrin. Please. I’m certain.” As certain as he’d been when he’d kneeled before her and sworn his life and loyalty.
“Please.”

I think therefore I am,
But what if all I do is bleed?
But what if all I do is bleed?
