Deimos, much to his irritation, was, in fact, in his office. He’d initially side-eyed the stack of paperwork on his desk, with multitudes of letters, requests, and discernments, with disdain. There’d been considerations of setting them all entirely on fire, but since there were important documents contained within, he’d begrudgingly began sorting through important ones, others that would need Evie’s more empathetic touch, and some he could slowly parse through with his deft and quick hand.
Mundane at best, he’d started through one section, then wondered if anyone would notice him flinging himself out the window, before the voice pulsed through his mind. And not one that ever had before.
Pausing, his eyes narrowed, glancing upwards at the closed door, then around the room, looking for the distinct figure and owner, and seeing no one. Sah?
