Koa might have preferred they move away from passers by, but alas, any semblance of authority he may have possessed has been soundly stripped away by Melita's laissez-faire approach to the world. At least he's managed to forge a rivalry with Mateo which keeps the botanist's focus off pedestrians on the street, even if it's at the price of Koa's own comfort and warmth.
