Based on the fact that the impromptu audience they've gained think nothing of lending their knives to Danta to throw, the Maverick is settled in the opinion that whatever they're doing isn't going to immediately piss off the spooky forest spirits, or whatever the fuck is in charge of the hivemind of trees in the Greatwood.
