"I didn't see anything saying it was against the rules," Danta says, grinning and raising his hands as if to tell Deimos not to judge him for his choices. (It had gotten him close to the Sword's strike into the target, so of course he's not going to deny himself an advantage where he sees one). But of course he's momentarily forgotten the ribbons of magic that flood Deimos's veins, the Maverick stepping back to watch him take his shot.

And nail it.

"Wh-- well," he says with a rough scoff and a grin of clearly suppressed laughter. "Nicely done. I noticed that the wind was rather on your side on that one." Raising his eyebrows, because the Fae certainly haven't noticed that Halo's Warden has been calling on the elements for help (they're far too drunk, in their defence), Danta steps up to lob another blade.

And whether it's because he hasn't accounted for the slight change in the air currents, or simply because of dumb luck, his knife sails straight past the target, through the branches and far, far away into the dark. Biting at the inside of his cheek to keep from smiling, Danta clears his throat. "I believe that might be my cue to stop."
