More than happy to join in fun and festivities, Elizabeth had arrived early to help set up, bundled tightly in thick layers. Her primary focus for preparation were the warm drinks and beverages, ensuring that there were plenty for any and all who arrived as well as enough sugar in them to keep the attendees properly fueled. She smiled and waved at each passerby, spotting Amhran and Deimos amongst them.
Once she'd determined that there was enough to feed a literal village, she excused herself from the other volunteers. She'd seen the ice rink go up, and she couldn't help the fluttering of excitement in her chest. Elizabeth rushed to place the skates on her feet, standing without hesitation - and nearly faceplanting. Laughing at her clumsiness, she hoped it would get easier once she actually got on the ice. But to no avail. The moment her skates touched the icy surface, her feet tried to flee out from under her. With a death grip on the side of the rink, she began to slowly make her way around, praying that she would magically develop some level of coordination.
