"To Asta, for being the best right hand anyone could ask for," he says, inclining his head to the taller man. "My shadow has never been so terrifying since the day you became it. To Charlie, for showing me so many new ways to worship our dark lady." He winks. "And to Dygra, of course, for making all of this possible."
Drinking deep from his glass, Danta resists the urge to shatter it afterwards. But only barely.
