The stage, when they finish, is not, perhaps, the most stunning construction that Lyra has ever seen; but somehow the rough-hewn boards seem fitting for the Greatwood, and it is nothing if not sturdy. With a smile, Lyra regroups with the others. "Very," she agrees with Maea, then places her hammer and nails back with the other tools and goes to help one of the vendors.
The woman makes her way over to the vendor laying out her wares and strikes up an easy conversation, asking about the goods as they begin to arrange them artfully on the shelves of the stall. The merchant is selling jewelry, and some of it is actually quite charming; Lyra makes a note to return and make a purchase at this Fiat Lux festival. In the meantime, though, she sets up displays and mannequins, places necklaces and bracelets on display, and all sorts of other goods as the time ticks by.
