Maea
And I hope that you don't suffer
But take the pain
But take the pain
If she was particularly happy that Liam had chosen to come and help her, Maea didn't say anything about it. She did smile a lot though, enjoying the simple task far more than it really warranted. Perhaps they were a bit too effective; before she even realised it the bunting was in place and the square had taken on a festive look in honor of the season.
"Thank you," Maea murmured to Liam as she descended the ladder. "I'll clean up here, if you want to help elsewhere." It was a quick task, to fold up the cloth and stow it back into baskets for another project. If needed she would pause for a moment to light the wood pile on fire, but otherwise she focused on her own work until it was done.
It was all coming along nicely. Maybe it wouldn't be the grandest festival ever held, but the fae looked pleased that it was happening at all, and Maea enjoyed the work and the company. This was what she loved; joining together with friends to accomplish a task, however small and insignificant it may seem.
Maea packs up the bunting and can help set the wood pile on fire if needed.

Hope if everybody runs
You choose to stay
