The Sword didn’t traverse over to the Oerwoud often; the temperature already different and still compared to the tangible wake of Deepfrost’s hold (often permanent) over Halo. Regardless, he’d thought to gather a few things to bring back to the greenhouse, see if either Evie or Amhran could work their ideals, magic, and fixtures into the rich loam and ensure those things could thrive amidst the Citadel’s incantations too.
Belial and Zuriel traversed alongside, though the former took to the trees and canopies overhead; bouncing, bounding, making obvious noise as he thrashed amidst the leaves above – launching from one portion of boughs and limbs to the next. The unicorn and Warden had more than once rolled eyes at one another in ample displays of irritation, but did naught more than that – Deimos eventually too busy glancing at a variety of plants and fruits to bother with the peryton’s antics. Besides, he was likely keeping any pests at bay.
Long strides eventually took them to the edges of the glassy lake below the Leap of Faith – glancing upwards, his eyes narrowed, pinpointing the location of the plumes and fog from the waterfalls – amused, nonetheless, as he noticed ripples across the otherwise motionless surface, vestiges disturbed by telltale, pink fins.
