It melted and formed under her scrutiny, twisting into elegant strokes and chain links that shimmered unnaturally in the sunlight. She could feel the protection taking root, giving shape to the thoughts and intentions before settling into an identical display of the necklace she'd worn earlier, a gold pendant with 'Caly' written in beautiful cursive.
