Nova
Always approving of fire and bright explosions, Nova nodded her head at his preference, trying to grin as her foot nearly caught in a pile of snow. She righted her steps and quickened back to his side, encouraged to hear that more magics might be on the horizon. Who knew what kind of fun abilities might arise in the next few months?!
When he directed the question back at her, she didn't even have to think. "Water. It sparkles." And definitely had nothing to do with the fact that Jack liked it too. Her illusions were also a close second, but that was hard to say when she was already out of breath, the distance and speed having finally drained what seemed like a bottomless pit of energy. She was still keeping up, but the flush on her cheeks and the dim shimmer of her magic when she said 'sparkles' were all the more apparent through her struggling sentences.
Nova wouldn't be caught lacking - even if the man was much larger and better trained - so she pushed through, glaring up to inspect Deimos like he was some kind of superhuman mutant. "Do you. Always. Walk this fast?"
