COLT
Going where the parties are isn't normally a problem for her, but this answer earns a deepset frown. Colt isn't particularly looking to party, much as the hunt for tequila might suggest otherwise. She's trying to numb enough things that her thoughts are a little more bearable, but it is a fine balance to ensure she doesn't go so numb she ends up bowling in her house again. For all the riding on horses she does, balance doesn't seem to come easy to her, not once she's out of the saddle anyway. "I see," she sighs, resigned to the idea that she'll have to do more than scuttle around the streets.
She's about to say thanks and wander towards the first yell and torch, a butterfly imitating a moth, but then her name comes out. She squints, leaning in closer. It is dark, and she's only met Soh once a while ago, and she didn't look a thing like this. It's enough to throw her off, and it's a wonder she can tell Vesper apart each time he dyes his hair. "Oh, hey!" she feigns some excitement, mostly out of embarrassment at being caught the fool. "Soh, right?" she asks, shaking a hand, the motion like a visible jog of her memory. She'd been the one who almost got injured by the ursur.
"Oh, uh, yeah, that'd be great," she lies, forcing her cheeks up with muscle memory. So much for a quick run into a distant town to avoid being noticed. Here's someone who not only knows her, but now she's gonna be drinking with. "You think they'll sell me bottles to go after some drinks? I have a bunch of dogs at home waiting for me," she murmurs, stepping into line beside Soh as they walk. She'd normally have no issue with this plan, little as she knows Soh, but this time of year isn't where she shines, and that's on purpose. She can fake it until she makes it though, and she's already here, so might as well endure a bit of frivolity.

I ain't sayin' that I always sleep alone
Done a little bit of midnight movin' on
I never let my heart go all the way
I never fall in love, baby, just in case
