[SWE] mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful

flowerbirth The longest night comes to an end and the sun peeks its face above the horizon to shine, crisp and bright, onto a Caido in full Flowerbirth bloom.  Of course, for buds to flower and seeds to sprout, there needs to be a spring shower or two to encourage them. This season, though, those showers - particularly for regions already predisposed to a little rain - are a lot more frequent than expected.  The drumming downpours melt away much of the snow in no time, at least, but with that, naturally, comes a lot of mud. And if the snow was memory snow, well... you can see where this is going. Memory Mud (see the F&F Encounters page for a full description) is out of control, especially in The Hollowed Grounds, The Greatwood and King's End where things are a lot more wet and muddy in general! Where memory snowmen and other merry creations once stood cheerfully amid buildings or against roadsides, now these are oozing, lumbering mud critters, and they're going nowhere fast. (Mostly because they're really slow, but also... you get it). Welcome to Flowerbirth 320 PC! If you're interested in the weather for your region during this time, please visit our SEASONS page! Bear in mind that The Hollowed Grounds, The Greatwood and King's End are a lot more wet and muddy this season! This event will run from November 1st to December 31st. All requirements must be met to complete the event. Multiple characters can participate, but the threads do not carry across! (I.E. Both characters must complete all threads to gain +2 stats each). Please use the Seasonal Event prefix in your thread titles. Once all requirements are met, post them here with your OOC account, linking the necessary threads and where you'd like your +2 stats to be allocated! Threads must be archived before the end of the season in order to be accepted. 1. Complete a thread encountering and dealing with memory mud! 2. Complete a thread in either The Greatwood, The Hollowed Grounds or King's End helping to deal with all the mud OR complete a PQ in your home region cleaning up after LongNight. 3. Prepare for the upcoming year! (e.g. Plant some seeds, plan hostile takeovers, set goals, spring clean, etc.) 4. Attend the Hot Air Balloon Festival(!!) [SE][SWE] up, up and away and post 3 times in the thread. HOUSEKEEPING! <3 1. For this season, Memory Mud can be found in ANY region! 2. SE threads must be at least 6 posts long (3 posts from each person). Threads can, of course, continue past where the SE requirement has been 'completed', but 6 posts minimum should be about the requirement. 3. Please remember that SE threads must be focused on completing the SE - we're really looking for these threads to be intentional creative writing prompts, and so they shouldn't really be combined with quest reqs/training/etc. unless it makes sense to do so! The overall point of an SE thread should be earnestly completing the SE, not simply mentioning it in just a post or two and moving on. Threads where minimal focus/effort is spent on the actual requirement will not be accepted. This isn't to stifle your creativity by any means, but rather as a point of fairness, as SEs are entirely optional for you to complete but you do get stat rewards for them!
