Isla
Isla nods, locking that idea away in the back of her mind for when she gets home after this little venture. Which, as Mel has rightly pointed out, is at least something for them to keep their hands busy while they wait for the next round of horrors to drop. That isn't really a way to live, though, and Isla smiles her soft agreement to the Honeybee. "I spent a long time thinking that way after the war ended," she says. "It's easy to fall back into it, too. But what if this peace lasts a long time? Wouldn't that be something?"
Her tone is playful as she continues evaporating the water from the salt, a girlish smile tugging at her lips. Hardly able to believe it, Isla is nevertheless quietly hopeful for long, quiet days ahead. Glancing back up to see Melita approach with more jugs of water, she adds some more salt to the jar and offers it out for her to hold. "Will you let me know when it looks like we have enough? Otherwise we could probably keep doing this all day." Which, based on the gathering rainclouds overhead - no thank you.

I'll take a bruise, I know you're worth it
When you hit me, hit me hard
When you hit me, hit me hard
