Kaisel is just as Niki remembers him from both his own home and Wildering House, the necromancer shrugging lightly at his question and offering him a dry smile. "Well," he says, "it would be rude to presume, would it not? Perhaps you are having a terrible morning." It certainly doesn't seem that way based on Kai's declaration of it being great, but even so. "Good is a nice middle ground. Have you ordered anything yet?" He nods at the menu the other man had been holding.
Following Kai's gaze around the bar, Niki's eyebrows raise a fraction as he draws similarities between it and the beachhouse in Torchline, and he's quiet as he tries to make those same connections. "Less spirits," he remarks with a smirk, "but I can see it, I think."
Glancing back to him to hear that he had lived in King's End, though, the necromancer becomes intrigued. "Oh? What did you think of the region?" he asks. "I have been considering a relocation. I am torn between here and the Hollowed Grounds."
