The hand in his hair only serves to help the Heartless deepen the kiss, to the point he ignores the dull thunk of the cane as it hits the floor as he presses back in, the kiss prolonging until lungs ache and he knows he’ll be bolstered for a while with the taste of the necromancer on his tongue. But even as they part, Niki’s hand remains in his hair and he stays close just to feel the heat of it that he soaks up.
Then, to hear that Niki thinks he should go sparks a breathless smile on his face, understanding more than anything else, even as he scans the realization sinks in. He huffs a soft laugh alongside him before he nods a short notion to keep the other man’s hand in his hair for a little longer before he’s withdrawing a little more so that he can snag Niki’s cane and set it right within reach.
“Fair point. Not sure I could either..” Comes the small admission, shifting so that he can rise to his full height. “You could stay if you wanted to.. or I can also help you out?” He asks, leaving it vague enough to mean anything really but he just wants to make sure if Niki is deadset on leaving that he’ll be able to make sure he gets back okay.
