Zavien
I believe that the sun has risen,
It was nice to have the occasional reminder to breathe, because he wasn't sure he remembered how to do that on his own. The exam proceeded with the doctor's magic (because why not XD) and it wasn't long before she was smiling at them both, congratulations flowing forth.
'It's a girl.'
Zavien took a slow, steady breath, a smile spreading like sunrise across his face. He turned to Soh, looking for her reaction as the reality blossomed between them. "It's a girl," he whispered, awe coloring his voice.
He leaned forward without a second thought, pressing his lips to Soh's in a moment of overwhelming love, uncaring that the older woman was in the room. He couldn't resist the urge, couldn't hide how he felt about the woman beside him, couldn't wait to meet their daughter.
When he pulled back, there was a stupid grin on his face, eyes glowing the brightest of green when he said with the utmost certainty, "She's going to be just like you."

not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
