"Do I have a habit of doing it or do you have a habit of lighting up when I am around?" Niki wonders, his sly smile entirely private as he shrugs out of his coat to hang it on a nearby hook, tucking his gloves into one of the pockets and letting his scarf join it a second later. He's in a green cableknit sweater and a pair of dark pants beneath the layers, hair tousled by the chill and a few flakes of snow still melting in it. "Ah, yes. I remember reading about how Longnight used to be for the Hollowed Grounds. I hope yours have been peaceful since you came to King's End."
This one seems to have started well at least, though peaceful isn't the first word that springs to mind. Not yet, anyway. He gestures for Sunjata to also feel free to hang up his coat before going to retrieve his bag of goodies from said stalls, moving to start to take everything out. "I think you are probably right," he agrees. "And New Haven is still relatively... new, so I imagine people are more than happy to foster some community spirit. It is working as far as I can see."
At the mention of the cider, Niki brightens and nods. "I already tried some," he says, a touch proud for it. "But only one cup. I think I am still shaking off that hangover from the last time I saw you."
