"Hm? I have," Niki says, lighting up in that quiet way someone does when someone's interest in something seems to match their own. "Never with coffee I've ground myself, though. Maybe I'll need to drop back by that stall and pick up some filters..." He falls quiet to properly stoke the fire, waiting until it looks like it's going to catch and keep before nestling the cinnamon sticks among the logs and straightening back up.
"I was hoping you would offer," he admits with a quiet chuckle. "Though I will insist on trying it as the gods intended before adding any syrup." He's joking, of course; he may even try some in his own cup a time or two, though he'll still insist on taking it without milk.
Heading back to the counter with the intention already of visiting more stalls with Sunjata, Niki nevertheless will need a bit of a breather to thaw out before braving the cold again. "I know it will shock you, but I have also never been sledding in Halo, so it is not as if I would be able to tell the difference," he says with a dryly amused grin, starting to put everything else away.
"How have you been, other than preparing for Longnight?" he asks, almost too casually, because the urge to bring up when they had last seen each other is too tempting otherwise.
