Plans made and a drawl of agreement for the fact Niki wasn’t an avid skier, Sunjata starts to relax a little more as the scent of cinnamon and underline of woodsmoke fills the air gently. With his honest answer, though, he isn’t anticipating such an honest answer back – the apology that isn’t necessary because it wasn’t like it was Niki’s fault that he couldn’t sleep. But the offer is there, and Sunjata can’t hide the small almost sheepish smile that blooms on his face. “I sleep better if I don’t sleep alone, so I guess if you want another panicky nightmare wake up in the middle of the night, we can plan something. Otherwise, I can figure it out. I’m fine either way.” A soft laugh leaves him.
He’d never ask Niki to share his bed on the regular just so he could sleep, but if there were a time where Niki didn’t want to spend it alone either, Sunjata wouldn’t be opposed – especially not after what had happened last time. But he hopes the answer comes off easily, like he isn’t expecting anything because he isn’t. He does, however, feel like he should have given Niki the truth, which he had.
But as Niki gestures around the home, Sunjata’s gaze follows to take in all the changes since the last time he’d seen him, nodding his understanding as his braces his hands behind him on the counter and slouches a little. “It’s looking really nice so far, though. Very you.” He takes his time taking it in before his gaze lands back on Niki with an easy smile.

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
