With the fire taking the worst of the chill from the air and warming it further with spice and sweetness, it's all too easy to relax further against the kitchen counter, and Niki is about to suggest going to sit on the couch when Sunjata speaks again. His brows flinch together a bit, in part because he thinks he might understand all too well how the Heartless's ex-fiance would have felt. But all of that means nothing now that she - or anyone else, it seems - is around to share Sunjata's bed.
"Perhaps you merely require some new marketing," he begins, the joke already forming a smile on his face, though the expression drops at the feel of a warm hand against his arm. Silenced by that simple point of contact, Niki is suddenly flooded with the memory of the other man's lips on his own, the brush of long fingers against his cheek.
"Now you are just flattering me," he mutters, forcing a smirk.
