They make it go by quickly, spreading it out while they talk so that it’ll be easier to hang. “Yeah, could do a latte or something with it?” He suggests, glancing over at Nova and all of her glitter-vibrancy to see how she might take it. It seems like it’s going well so far, though, if his assumption of the gears working in her head have anything to say about it.
A cider sounds good, though, and given that they’d offered to be one of the stalls to offer a variety of hot drinks, cider certainly aligned with that. “Ooh that sounds good. Apple and cinnamon would be a nice choice.” Warm and homey, he thinks.
Withdrawing about the time the banner’s finally ready, her order is granted with a soft laugh but a nod, snagging the edge of the banner closest to him to lift up to the awning to be affixed to it. “Can you hold this part?” He asks, already assuming she will as he starts to tie the strings to keep it up against the nails that are already partially sticking out from previous events.
