Alys
Flowerbirth dawned in muted gold, rays of sun stretching over the horizon to herald the changing season. And yet, despite the reappearance of the sun, something felt different. Perhaps it was simply a slow awakening, and the chill would disperse as the days turned into weeks; or perhaps, given her recent vision, there was something more nefarious afoot. Either way, Alys was on edge. But she'd agreed to help with purifying the area for the river, and she was nothing if not a woman of her word. Upon receiving a missive from Thorn, she'd written back that she would be happy to help, and now she walked along the path to the river's location to meet the courtesan.

She didn't know the man well, but they'd met in passing before, and as she and Sascha approached the designated meeting point, the seer smiled in a friendly, inviting way. "Hello, Thorn," she said, eyes flicking towards the rock he toed along the edge of the empty riverbed before landing once more on the courtesan. "How are you? I hope I haven't kept you waiting long."
Oh, I had a dream that you couldn't hear me screaming
Trying to tell you everything but it wouldn't stop you leaving
