From that glimmer Safrin steps onto the beach, draped in midnight and constellations, her gaze travelling from the Sugartide to the crimson growth winding through the bones beneath the sand.
Her nose wrinkles faintly. This is no shrine, and the island is both wild and hungry enough that even Flora’s glittering efforts can’t quite disguise it. Still, Safrin turns her attention to her newest demigod and arches one elegant brow, willing to assume there’s purpose behind the unusual invitation.
"Go on, then," she murmurs, her expression poised somewhere between indulgence and curiosity. "I’m listening."
