Kipper
It would not take long for Kipper to devour his snack of cheese, meat and bread, humming and nodding along as the other spoke of all the things happening around them. He couldn’t recall if he knew about what had happened at the Boondocks–or really anywhere for that matter. In fact, Kipper had to think hard to recall the last time he’d left the Barrows, especially since he’d set up a small solitary camp on the outer edge.
Kipper really should get out more.
Ever since he took on the job, Kipper had dedicated his life to it, cutting out most of his social ties–not that the man really had many to begin with. An outsider looking in might wonder if Kipper’s refusal to be social or be around others was due to a suspicious past.
Maybe he’d adventure out for supplies in the near future, stock up on goodies and see what had changed since the last time he ventured from the Barrows.
“Didn’t realize,” he admitted, unwilling to pretend he was aware of anything happening outside his area of work unless it would eventually affect him or the spirits. “Not so many folk over here–they’ve not had much to be bothered by… or at least from what I’ve noticed…” and he would have noticed, he hoped, seeing as he tried to make sure the spirits were appeased to the best of his abilities. “I'm not keeping you from anything, right?...” A small concern that he was stealing too much of Sunjata's time--a man who was always busy with something, expected given his status. Kipper was a small creature in the scheme of function, and he was good to remember it often.
