It shouldn't come as a surprise that Seren had wandered off and knew Saiden, apparently, but Ronin still had to be shocked at the number of people that his daughter had run into. Internally he scolded himself for not being a better father, but he didn't let any of it show on his face. "How did you meet Saiden?" he inquired instead, not having noticed the mermaid surfacing beneath them.
"He does live on a ship, that's right. Maybe he will know a good one that we can take a ride on, even if he doesn't come with us. I don't know how busy he is, after all. Working on a ship takes up a lot of your time." He winked.
