Noah sat in silence as Delphine spoke to him. He did not know what else to say. He did not disagree with her, but, he also wanted her to stay. He knew, though, that just him being the selfish one. Sighing, Noah nodded, and lifted his eyes to her. [say]"I think that's wise."[/say]
The hunter stood and made his way towards the front door. The fire behind him was too close to going out at this point that if he did not get something started now, they would freeze in the night. He moved outside quickly and gathered the wood Delphine had dropped when he had charged her. He felt exhausted as he did so, the cold air hitting him hard. When he came back in, he kicked the snow off his boots but set right to work.
He felt so tired. He worked on the fire almost mindlessly, his fingers working through the muscle memory. He did not know what else to say to Delphine at all, but the weight of all of his emotion sat heavy on his shoulders.
