People of Halo,
Thank you for choosing me as your Warden. I will endeavour to the best I can and a part of that is being as transparent as I can be with all of you. With that in mind, here are my current plans:
- Over the next few days, I will be appointing a council. You will know who these people are and they should be able to help with their specialised areas.
- With the Deepfrost temperatures having truly set in, we cannot hope to rebuild our Citadel before Flowerbirth. When the time comes I will be organising our rebuilding as much as possible: for now, we will focus on small repairs to houses and shops, fortifying what we do have in preparation for anything else that may come in the remaining half of the season.
- Beginning in Flowerbirth, I will be holding seasonal meetings for everyone in Halo to attend and speak to the council if they so wish. If you wish to speak with me between these meetings, do not hesitate to ask when I will be available.
- I am aware there was some alarm over my opinions on the Ascended. I want you all to be aware I will not be making any large or rash decisions too quickly and I am willing to hear the opinions and experiences of those who wish to talk to me.
- For the moment, I am remaining as Captain of the Guard and training the guards when I can. If you would like to become a Deepfrost Shield, please come and see me or sign up on the sheet at the notice board.
We are strong and we will make it past these challenges.
