[PQ] A scientific approach

Things quickly grew out of control, and Edmund nodded at Thalassa as she approached, "I'll go after the spider." He turned to Ellyra, "Will you please count and make sure that we haven't lost any others?" There wasn't much more time to plan that ntat, and the Ancient rushed over and grabbed a set of flint and steel, quickly striking it enough that a spark emerged. That was all it took for his magic to latch onto it. A burst of fire appeared in his palm, and he chased after the rogue spider. Dodging panicked assistants, Edmund attempted to corner the spider enough that he could set it ablaze. Re-trapping was a possibility, but given the danger, elimination seemed to be the most responsible choice.  ~ Edmund attempts to kill the escaped spider with fire (that he makes using flint and steel)!
