As Sah brought down another, the hellhound flickered his attention back to the remaining corvids. I do not think much wisdom remains in these ones, given how quickly and promptly they all seemed to fly about and continue screeching, despite seeing either the rest of their brethren be demolished or escape. We can take them out, then bring back any leftovers home. They certainly had enough citizens to keep fed.

As if yearning for their moment to shine, or be amidst the fallen, those three flew down in the habitual screaming; Deimos immediately snagged one by the talons, amused as it screeched for different reasons.

sah Sah laughed through the bond. Sounds good.He could scout at a later to see if any wild fyrhunds enjoyed acid-covered bird. They could answer the inquiry for him. The younger hybrid hoped that it was edible. He was curious as to what the acid tasted like. The Wild Thunder nodded at Deimos' plan, eying the fallen gore crows already at their feet. We'll certainly have plenty to bring. The birds weren't small and surely the two infernal hounds couldn't eat more than half of them, right? It had originally been an impressively large flock. As the final gore crows descended and Deimos dealt with one, the remaining two turned on the smaller canine. Sah ducked the first swipe of talons before rearing up and snapping the second bird out of the air. It crunched satisfyingly before he dropped it to the ground. The last remaining bird circled above his head, letting out a furious caw. As it went for one of Sah's ears, the fyrhund jumped out of the way before twisting around. The gore crow's wings spread wide as it tried to regain altitude. It was too slow, and the hybrid smacked it with a paw and sent it tumbling. Before it could get up, Sah pounced and ended the hunt.

Inevitably roared, screeched, flailed, and eventually faded into the demise of the crows. He snorted, amused, at the flock around them, descended into nothing but plenty of carcasses and corpses for meat, feathers, and bones. Job well done he rumbled, content with the decrepit arrangement, hellhound tail wagging at the surplus. Figuring Sah had his fill and enough for the day as well, he started to gather them, already taking a few in his jaws, for the eventual sojourn to Halo. We can head home, with more than enough for those who needed it – another communal sharing of stores and wares.
