Busy actually overseeing the construction of the dock, Jack doesn't realise that it's about time to dive beneath the waves until they're being handed manta crystals and Melita, of all people, is leading the way.
Hissing in a breath through his teeth, Jack slips the crystal on and his shirt and boots off, along with anything of value (read: likely to get ruined if it's wet) from his pockets. With that done, he vaults himself off the dock and into the water, already regretting it.
