Elizabeth
The greatest gift
you can give someone
you can give someone
Honestly, even though she knew the gods didn't like her (since that's what everyone told her), Elizabeth had never actually tried praying at a shrine before. It just seemed pointless. However, after her recent experiences with Void creatures attacking her, it seemed like a good idea to boost her abilities a little. And if a god was able to help, that's where she'd go.
Stepping into the recess of the shrine, Elizabeth knelt next to the altar, her eyes scanning the surroundings. It didn't amount to much more than a plethora of scattered offerings and nubs of burnt-out candles. Rubbing her hands against the side of her cloak, she used the static to generate a jolt of electricity to light her own candle. She then reached a hand into her pocket, removing her own addition to the shrine. A handcrafted glass snowflake. Her voice filtered up gently in the empty space. "Safrin. We mortals are a poor imitation of your image, frozen snowflakes with fleeting beauty that melts in spring. Yet, like this glass snowflake, you sparkle and shine eternally, never smudging or dimming." Placing the offering on the mantel, she dipped her head. "Please accept this as a reminder of your everlasting youth and beauty."
Sitting back on her feet, she looked up with a sweet smile. "If you see fit to bless me with your presence, I would like to humbly ask for your assistance in obtaining an item to enhance my magic. With your help, I hope to use it to make the world a better place." Whether that was helping people work through their problems, destroying Void, or making pretty visuals, Elizabeth was ready to do her part. She just hoped Safrin agreed.
Elizabeth is praying to Safrin for an item to heighten her magic!
Regional Score bonus: +7 in all shrine visits, drops, PQ+s, KQs, etc. (You must post this at the bottom of any post where a +7 should be included)
