Welcome to CotF’s first ever Halloween Hijinks Contest! Try your hand at playing a new character, and see if you can guess who dressed up as yours! If you can fool your costume’s writer, you will be crowned Triumphant Trickster, but if guess who’s writing your character, you will be a Sleuth Supreme!

The rules are simple:
- To join, put the name of one of your characters below. You have until Midnight on Oct 1 to enter.
- On Oct 2, you will receive your randomly assigned character. Don’t tell anyone who you got!
- You will then be given a thread starter where ~spoopy things~ are occuring. In groups of 2-3, try to manage your spoopy situation.
- Each participant is expected to reply at least once every 72 hours, so we can get a proper thread going!
- The event ends Oct 25, at which point you will post in this thread again with your guess as to who wrote your character. Additionally, there will be nominations for Best Written,
- Funniest Take, Most Creative Thread, etc. Stay tuned!
- On Oct 28, nominations end and voting begins. Then on Oct 31 winners and correct guessers will be announced!
Other stipulations and housekeeping
- All posts should be made using the NPC account.
- This contest is run by me! So don't harass Honey and Odd about it, ya goons
- You will be provided with a simple table for your assigned character, courtesy of Sky!
- If you feel you will not be able to keep up with your thread, please let me know so we can assign someone else to that character!
- Obviously all event threads are non-canon
