LongNight Preperations

I have some ideas about how we might better protect our own during LongNight. I would love to hear your input and feedback and any suggestions that you have, both natural and outlanders alike.

I will be hosting a meeting in the Temple tomorrow at noon. I hope to see you all there.

Death Notice

Queen Edrei is dead.
Respects may be sent to the Launceleyn Manor.

Queen Wessex and King Ronin will continue to guide Caido.

It was a single sheet of parchment, with charcoal letters. They were incredibly neat, though smudged in places. Loren had struggled with whether or not to sign his name, but he figured rather than go find all the people he used to know and tell them individually he'd let them come to him.

SEEKING INFORMATION

The Launceleyns seek information on the disappearance of the former queen, Zariah Launceleyn. Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts, please come to the Launceleyn Manor.

HUNTERS NEEDED

Loren Launceleyn requests assistance tracking down and hunting deer. All interested parties should assemble at the woodlands at dawn. The meat will be stored in the Launceleyn Manor in preparation for Deepfrost. Also, please note that any and all residents of the Hollowed Grounds are welcome to stay in the manor for the duration of the cold season.

LongNight Updates

1. Do not neglect the Luxere Herds when they come. We need them for LongNight. Everyone, please prepare to feed and sing to them.

2. There is a now a code to identify real people from Monsters. If you are outside and need to get in, say the name of the deer with the glowing horns and you wlll be granted entry.

3. A communal LongNight sanctuary is still to be determined. If you have strong opinions, please send them, along with you reasons to Wessex.

4. If you want to plant your roses at night and desire protection while doing so, please reach out to any of the Ascended. They will be happy to escort you.

MISSING

Beatrix and Jace Launceleyn are missing. Beatrix is ten, with brown skin, dark curly hair, and dark brown eyes. Jace is around four, with light skin, curly brown hair, and greenish eyes. If anyone has information regarding their current whereabouts, please inform Loren Launceleyn immediately. And Jace and Beatrix, if you see this, please come home. I'm worried.

Seeking information on a woman who attacked one of our citizens.

Description: Female, roughly 5'8. Last seen wearing black leather armor, carrying a scythe. Quite agile, probably has military training.

For the raising of the Spark Bird perch in the Sanctuary before Long Night. All who are interested in helping, please bring axes, knives, or any woodcutting-and-working tools you may have to the center of the Sanctuary tomorrow at noon.

Medical Lecture

A lecture on how to triage various wounds and an explanation on basics to keep on hand will be hosted by the Caido Medical College prior to LongNight. Professor Cera will lead the lecture.

Volunteers are appreciated and will be compensated fairly for their time. All are welcome!

LONGNIGHT

Citizens of the Hollowed Grounds

Queen Wessex, in consultation with General Deimos, has determined that the Temple and the Monster Hunter's Guild are the safest places to gather for LongNight. All citizens should plan to stay in one of those two locations. We ask that you inform the General or the Queen where you will be. In addition, the militia will be coordinating preparations at both. If you wish to assist in these efforts, Loren Launceleyn will be fortifying the Temple tomorrow morning, and stay tuned for more news from the general about preparations at the Monster Hunter's Guild.
