This might be the dumbest thing she’s done in awhile, and that encompasses a lot, given the head dropping, the Tower-crashing, and the trade fuckery of late. But the Wraith would be lying if she said hadn’t been obsessively thinking about the green dragon that somehow stole all her shit a year ago. This grudge is a long-standing, festering wound in the demigod’s head and it’s now or never. Put it off any more and she risks being revived too late. She finds herself brimming with both anticipation and a tiny bit of anxiety, because she’s well aware of what the worst possible outcome of this is.

Sending what was rather like a will, she gives all the very important bits of herself to Isla and then spends the next hour with Loki, trying to reassure her beloved. Many treats are involved. With a final kiss on the nose and a promise to return, Wessex checks to make sure it’s late enough at night and then teleports herself back to the dark, cold, and potentially very lethal slopes of the Draig. Back to Mabel's frozen corpse and the multiple boxes that hold her dead siblings, hoping to arrive unnoticed and use them for some initial coverage while she scopes out the situation.

Somehow - and she’s not sure how - she just has to find the thief (how many green dragons could there be?) and kill it. Easy peasy, right?

Per Isla -, Wessex has taken out her communications and backsplash upgrade and comes without any of her current items inventory.

Not that Wessex will need it to breathe, but the air here is pristine and fresh—unlike anything her senses will have ever experienced. Silence thunders, reverberating through the Wraith's upgrad-less body.

Wessex waits, peeking up over the top of the boxes to scan the skies and the immediate area.

Huh. No dragons around. And that’s when she gets a secondary idea: yes, retrieving all her items is what she came for but what if she could cross this ice-wrought field? See what’s beyond. Be the FIRST, because fuck, she always has a hardon for being the first to do something.

Steeling herself and girding her bravado for a mad dash across open territory, Wessex vaults over her makeshift cover and starts sprinting towards the other side, carelessly putting certain death out of her mind. Either it’ll bring out the dragons, or it won’t, and she’ll eventually be someplace new. That's it. That's all she can allow herself to think about.
