Aumakua - Rules

Aumakua is a small island just off the coast, connected to the mainland by a narrow stone bridge that spans the shallow water between. At its centre rises a three-storey lighthouse built of pale stone, its structure simple and solid, with a magically lit beacon burning steadily at the top. The surrounding sands glitter like scattered stars at all hours, catching and reflecting light even beneath cloud or darkness. The island itself is otherwise open and exposed, with little in the way of cover beyond the lighthouse, the constant sound of the ocean pressing in from all sides.

Aumakua Shrine
A shrine to Safrin and Vi crowns the top of Aumakua’s lighthouse, set within a circular chamber carved in warm stone and gold. Intricate reliefs and sculpted columns frame the space, their details softened by candlelight that burns in clusters along every surface. At the centre, a large round window opens directly to the sea, perfectly framing the horizon so that sky and water become part of the shrine itself. A patterned mosaic spreads across the floor beneath it, worn smooth by time and quiet reverence, while the air is thick with heat, salt, and the steady glow of flame; an ever-burning beacon not just for ships below, but for those who come here to be heard.
