Appearance

Sola is someone who looks very much like she cares about her appearance. She wears makeup, does her hair, and makes the best use of the outfits she owns. She stands at 5' tall and weighs 115 lbs. She has dark brown hair that is often mistaken as being black. Her whole family has blue eyes and she looks completely human. She doesn't have any distinguishing marks aside from her mark of control which takes the shape of a black crown on the center of her right heel.

Personality

Sola is what one might call a socialite. She enjoys being around people, forming relationships and generally enjoying life. She's a generally pleasant person to be around, if she likes you. She likes most people by default and likes them more when they're able to help her meet her goals. If she does dislike someone it's usually because they're a woman and getting in her way. She hates women the worst when they're vying for the same man as her or the type to flaunt their success in her face. There's a part of her that knows she ought to seek out a better life and gain power to make up for what was taken from her. She does make an honest effort, but it always comes second to socializing with others. She half believes that trying to get ahead is folly because it can just be taken from her. It's this self doubt that ultimately ruins a lot of her romantic relationships. She hates being dependent on others and can't bring herself to commit to any one person for very long. Sometimes her feelings do a 180 after a single night, sometimes after a few weeks.

History

Not long after Sola turned sixteen her father was set to inherit from his dying father. Politics were politics though and his brother ended up having him killed along with his wife and son. Sola was the only one who survived because she'd been out of the house at the time. So, when she arrived to a home with a bunch of dead bodies in it she decided she had to leave quickly. She took everything of significant value from the home and sold it over time to get by as she travelled far from her home. It was at this point that she tried to dissociate from her family and avoid potential assassination. During Sola's travels she finally appreciated her magic. It was magic that allowed her to survive and live a relatively peaceful life as she travelled. She progressed her magical abilities quite a lot during this time and discovered that when her life was on the line she really could learn quickly.
