no thank you is how it should have gone, I should stay strong
"I AM COOPERATING." It's only right that Carlo rounds off this performance with his own contribution, though to anyone watching him he's doing quite the opposite of cooperating. Nevertheless, at Finch's pointed look down the street he does at least begin to writhe in that general direction, toes scrabbling at the ground while their new accomplice tries to redirect his brother's shenanigans away from vomming all over his feet. "He said you just have to chew it apparently?" he hisses in a stage whisper of the orange peel, though by then the threat of echo sharks is being made and Carlo wants to ensure his opinion on the matter is known.
Bellowing, "YOUR FACE LOOKS LIKE AN ECHO SHARK," loud enough for some of the more youthful members of their audience to try and hide their snickering, at this point he does opt to give up the fight and allow Finch to frog-march them (sort of) towards the intended location. "We don't even have a mom," he complains once there, trying in earnest to peel himself out of Finch's grip once the coast is clear.
"And fine. Fine, you can have this back. I thought it was a candy wrapper anyway." Reaching up his sleeve, Carlo pulls out the scrap of parchment that, unbeknownst to him, contains the location of several caches in Rae's Fingers. "Was the distraction really the problem? Or was I clumsy in your pocket?" he wants to know, earnest for the feedback.
