They both know otherwise, though, especially as he utilizes the basket to place the used rags in for the waitress to take when she returns and keeps them out of the way.

As Danta fills their glasses with the chilled white wine, Asta finishes up setting everything he’d used to help clean the Maverick to the side, readjusting the table cloth that would serve to essentially be their plates soon enough. “To Torchline’s healing water.” He agrees, clinking his glass against his fiance’s and downs a hefty sip of it.
He sets the glass down and snags the menu, setting it between them so they can decide what exactly they wanted in their boil, doing his usual thing of murmuring all the items under his breath so Danta can read along. “Would you prefer it spicy or more savory?” He asks, letting Danta pick what fish they’ll include while he picks out the additional portions – potatoes, hard boiled eggs, andouille sausages.
