How wonderful to see you," she said, ignoring the social faux pas of touching a pregnant woman's stomach without asking. Did it make her a little uncomfortable? Sure. But this was Nova, and she'd always been bright and bubbly enough to gloss over any broach of manners.
"Yes, I'm pregnant," she replied to Nova's question, laughter bubbling up. "And yes, that's why we moved." Anani trilled a soft greeting of her own, untwining from around Soh's shoulders to hover almost protectively between her bonded and the overenthusiastic newcomer. Glancing up at Zavien, she waited patiently for him to begin to descend the ladder. As they waited, she gestured to the glasses of water she'd brought out. "Can I get you something to drink?" she asked Nova politely.
