The euphoria of finally being released is short-lived as his nose is flicked, and Carlo's squawk of indignation makes for quite a good impression of a hel; something he'll realise in future adventures, no doubt. He's not as invested as Calan in the intricacies of vomit-inducing orange peel, given that he hasn't swallowed any of it (today), but that doesn't mean he isn't still interested in the answer.
Rubbing at his nose and nodding solemnly at his brother's opening remarks, he can't help but puff his chest out with pride at the announcement that they were not wombed. It feels special to have been grown, no matter what their pretend-older-brother thinks, though his child's mind could easily be swayed by the bigger (and therefore better and more experienced) thief depending on what he makes of it.
"At least a few weeks now," he says confidently on the back of Calan's estimation on how long their illustrious careers in thievery have spanned. "And we're so good that we didn't even know we were doing it the first time." That's obviously what his brother had meant, so Carlo doesn't feel remorse for correcting Finch before he gets the wrong idea. In fact, he sticks his hand out ready for a handshake, sleeve pushed up as if to prove he isn't planning to steal (or be stolen from) this time.
"I'm Carlo Tal...amanca," he says, warping his surname into a suitable replacement for this meeting. "This is my brother Calan."
