She didn't mean to be standoffish, truly - she had just never learned the social niceties required for this sort of situation, and it showed. Still, she was an attentive pupil, and eager to learn that which she did not know, so she made an effort to nod. "Thank you," she said, tone solemn despite the lingering smile upon her lips. It was kind of Deimos to take the time to teach her, when she was not one of his soldiers, and she would remember that kindness going forward.
